As a part of Patriot Mobile’s commitment to supporting our nation’s Military, Veterans and First Responders, we were honored to sponsor Warrior Rising’s ‘Aim for Impact’ Business Shower in Iowa during Military Appreciation Month.

Warrior Rising is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering U.S. military veterans and their immediate family members by providing opportunities to create their own businesses, perpetuate the hiring of fellow American veterans, and earn their future. Much like the hit show Shark Tank, the Business Shower brings together veterans from across the country to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges, gain valuable mentorship, and compete for funding. Post event, Warrior Rising goes far deeper to help veterans by providing business coaching and valuable support. They are about service, growth, and transformation.

The weekend kicked off with ‘Range Day,’ an outdoor experience that gave the competing veteran entrepreneurs a chance to connect and build camaraderie with fellow veterans and mentors. This Range Day was not just fun—it was the first step in a weekend designed to launch veteran-owned businesses to the next level.

At this Business Shower, eight veteran entrepreneurs took the stage to pitch their ideas, sharing their bold visions, innovative solutions, and deeply personal missions behind their businesses. These inspiring startups are driven by leaders who have already served their country and are now serving their communities.

We are proud to spotlight the event’s top two finalists:

  • Cassidy Nolan, CEO of Mach 1 Hot Sauce, took home the $20,000 grand prize for his high-impact, flavor-forward business.
  • Michael Lee, CEO of Pest Arrest, earned a $10,000 award for his mission-driven pest control company.
