August 15, 2025 – At Patriot Mobile, we believe in giving back. That’s why we were honored to join country superstar Jason Aldean and the Houston Astros in donating over $200,000 for Heroes for Children, a Texas nonprofit supporting families battling pediatric cancer.
DJ Daniel’s Inspiring Mission
The event was inspired by 13-year-old Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, a Houston native fighting a rare brain and spinal cancer. Told nearly eight years ago he had only months to live, DJ has endured over a dozen surgeries and now dedicates his time to raising awareness and funds for kids with cancer.
Earlier this year, DJ posted a video asking, “Does anybody know Jason Aldean? We’re trying to do a country show to raise money for kids with cancer.” Jason saw the video and, with the help of several connections like Patriot Mobile and the Houston Astros, turned DJ’s dream into reality.
Jason Aldean Brings Hope to Families Battling Cancer
The day began with mini-golf at Puttshack in Houston, where Jason, DJ, Astros players, and families from Heroes for Children shared laughter and hope. The Astros also offered the kids the chance to join them at batting practice, arranged meet-and-greets with players, and gifted the families tickets to future games.
That evening, DJ joined Jason on stage at his sold-out Full Throttle concert powered by Patriot Mobile, sharing his story and encouraging fans to support Heroes for Children–with jokes that had the crowd roaring.
In one of the most moving moments, Jason Aldean–alongside Patriot Mobile–presented a $200,000 check to Heroes for Children, helping ensure no family faces childhood cancer alone.

Patriot Mobile CEO Glenn Story said it best on Steve Bannon’s War Room:
“The real beauty of it is the folks that listen to this music love America–red, white and blue. We get to share what Patriot Mobile is and participate in things like this. You know our hearts–we like to give. We ended up spending the day with Jason Aldean and DJ Daniel, who has a very rare cancer, and together we raised $200,000.”
