Patriot Mobile invites you to see the inspiring new movie, AVERAGE JOE, hitting theaters on October 11. This film tells the incredible true story of Coach Joe Kennedy, a high school football coach who faced his greatest battle fighting for his right to pray at the 50-yard line after games.

Coach Joe Kennedy was no stranger to challenges. Growing up in foster care and serving 20 years in the Marine Corps, he had already faced significant battles. But nothing compared to what he experienced when he chose to stand up for his right to pray publicly after football games. Fired from his job for silently praying at the 50-yard line, Coach Kennedy knew they had to fight for his First Amendment rights—no matter the cost.

From the producers of GOD’S NOT DEAD and THE BLIND, AVERAGE JOE is a must-see film, reminding us that one person, grounded in faith, can change the course of history. It’s a story that resonates deeply with what we stand for at Patriot Mobile—protecting the freedoms that allow us to live out our faith openly.

Patriot Mobile is proud to support First Liberty Institute, the legal organization that fought for Coach Kennedy’s case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. After a decade of perseverance, the Court ruled in his favor in 2022, affirming his right to pray according to his faith. This 6-3 ruling was a landmark victory, not just for Coach Kennedy, but for all Americans who believe in the First Amendment.

This decision overturned nearly 50 years Establishment Clause precedent, rightly affirming that Coach Kennedy’s right to prayer was protected by both the Free Exercise and Free Speech clauses of the First Amendment. It was a victory for every American who values the freedom to worship and speak freely.

“We encourage everyone to go see this uplifting movie, Average Joe,” said Glenn Story, Patriot Mobile’s Founder and CEO. “Coach Kennedy’s courage shows us how one person can make a huge impact in protecting our freedoms.”

Don’t miss AVERAGE JOE in theaters starting October 11. Let’s come together to celebrate Coach Kennedy’s victory and be inspired to stand strong for our faith and freedom.
